1. Introduction
This Cookies Policy explains how R2Y2 ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website and platform (the "Platform"), and the choices available to you regarding their use.
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and collect information about how the site is used. Similar technologies, including pixels, tags, web beacons, and local storage, perform related functions and are addressed collectively in this Policy under the term "cookies" unless otherwise specified.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off. They enable core functions such as account login, session management, security, and wallet authentication. Without these cookies, services you have asked for, such as accessing your dashboard or completing a transaction, cannot be provided.
3.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies
These cookies collect information about how users interact with the Platform, including pages visited, time spent, and navigation paths. We use this information to understand Platform performance and improve the user experience. Tools used for this purpose include Google Search Console and Matomo, which also support website performance tracking for sites managed through R2Y2.
3.3 Functional Cookies
These cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you make, such as language preference or display settings, to provide a more personalized experience.
3.4 Advertising and Marketing Cookies
These cookies, including marketing pixels, are used to track the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, measure conversions, and, where applicable, deliver relevant advertising to you on third-party platforms. These cookies may be set by us or by third-party advertising partners and may be used to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertising on other sites.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Certain cookies on the Platform are set by third parties who provide services to us, including analytics providers and advertising partners. These third parties may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Platform and other websites over time. We do not control these third-party cookies, and we encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies of these third parties for further information.
Third-party tools currently used on the Platform may include analytics services such as Google Search Console and Matomo, and advertising or marketing pixel providers used for campaign measurement and retargeting.
5. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- To enable essential Platform functions, including login, session security, and transaction processing.
- To understand how the Platform and individual website assets are performing, including traffic and search visibility metrics.
- To remember your preferences and improve usability.
- To measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and deliver relevant advertising.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abnormal activity, including traffic manipulation affecting websites listed on the Platform.
6. Your Cookie Choices
You have the following options to control cookies:
- Cookie banner or preference center. Where required by applicable law, we will present a cookie banner or preference center on your first visit to the Platform, allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Instructions vary by browser and are typically available in the browser's help documentation.
- Opt-out tools. For advertising cookies, you may also be able to opt out through industry tools provided by advertising self-regulatory organizations, where available in your region.
Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly, including the ability to log in, access your dashboard, or complete transactions.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and technologies we use, or for legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was most recently revised. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
8. Contact Us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us through the Platform's support channels.
